I’ve been teaching Special Education for over 25 years in a variety of settings. My husband and I are preparing to move to Sweden, and since I’m not fluent in Swedish, I won’t be able to keep teaching in a classroom. I still wanted a way to support and care for students and teachers, which is how Superbrain Supports was born. My goal is to help teachers save time, reduce behaviors, and boost engagement for our “Superbrain Students.”

The story behind the original Superbrains is one of my favorites. Several years ago, I was teaching a wonderful group of 3rd–5th graders with cognitive impairments. As we worked on building a classroom community, I asked the kids to come up with a class name. After much brainstorming (and a little silliness!), they proudly chose Superbrains.

Their joy and creativity inspired me then and still inspire the work I do today. Everything I create is dedicated to empowering students, just like my original Superbrains empowered me. ❤️
